This absolutely stunning dress from our line of kits by The Pampered Poupee was featured in the La Mode Illlustree in 1850 and in Godeys Ladys Book in 1861.
Quite a sight to behold when completed in the fabric of shimmery lavender silk taffeta adorned with beautiful scrollwork and raised dots reproduced by machine embroidery. The sleeves are full and ruffled. The bodice features princess seams, point front, and an attached collar with additional embroidery. Sleeve ruffles and collar are trimmed with imported organic cotton trim from the UK.
The kit comes with darling silk slippers that have been embroidered to match with laser cut insoles and leather soles. These are so easy to assemble and definitely add so much in completing the outfit.
The pattern pieces were drafted by Mary Ann Shandor and specifically made to fit our Dollspart Huret resin body. When completed, this dress will fit your HURET like a glove making it so appealing to the eye. Kit includes pre-embroidered fabric, lace edging, hook and eyes, lace edging and pattern. You supply the thread and you are all ready to enjoy the pleasure of this outstanding outfit when completed.
